A super beginner-friendly watercolour workshop.
The workshop is guided yet open-ended, allowing you to explore watercolour intuitively rather than focusing on expectations.
The whole point of this workshop session is for us to slow down, observe, experiment, and regulate our nervous system through art by allowing ourselves to play.
What to Expect
-
Wet-on-wet techniques for soft blending and organic flow
Wet-on-dry techniques for sharper edges and control
Water-to-paint ratios through the Tea, Milk & Honey technique
How different brushes create different movements and shapes
How to build confidence through experimentation and play
-
The workshop includes guided exercises such as monochromatic style, ombré, florals, abstract water exploration.
Each participant will have their own fully set creative station with watercolour paper, wooden boards, paints, brushes, palettes, water stations and shared many more materials ready to use freely throughout the session.
This workshop is intentionally kept small and intimate to create a relaxed atmosphere where participants can comfortably ask questions, experiment, and move at their own pace. Whether you are picking up a paintbrush for the first time or returning to creativity after a long time, this workshop is about reconnecting with curiosity, movement, and the simple joy of creating in play.
